Beverley Blinds is trade only supplier of window blinds, Located in Exhall on the Bayton Road Industrial Estate. Established in 1990 we are a family run business that takes pride in the service and quality of work that we do. The Pelmate was an idea that came from frustration with the standard finish with ugly gaps and ill-fitting joints on the wood venetian pelmets fitted to bay windows. The Pelmate was designed in house and printed using 3D printing technology, over time the demand out grew what could be produced with 3D printers. Injection moulding was the answer; however, the costs of the tooling were prohibitive as a small family business we do not have the financial resources as some of the bigger companies. We came to realise that we would have to make the investment in tooling and took the decision to “bite the bullet” We made the commitment albeit more expensive to keep everything in the UK supporting UK jobs and industry. With an investment running into the tens of thousands we had the tooling made not too far from us in Leicester and the mouldings from a company in a tiny Village called Desford.
